18x8.5, 275 widest I can go???

I NEED more grip, I have Kazera KZ-A 18x8.5 In the rear currently wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar Tires 255/45/18, my stang pushin 420rwhp and their not grabbin like they should, I know i need some 18x10's with some 305+, but i'ma wait till summer. So i wanna go at least 275 with these 18x8.5, will these fit or can i go bigger???????? suggetions??

the 275 will fit but will bulge out some.. it also depends on the tire. nittos run more narrow than other brands so it might actually fit nicely. M.T. E.T. Street Radials are great but wont last you as long as a Nitto drag radial which is more than enough for the street. but if you're looking for a street/strip tire then go for the M.T. Drag Radial.

Alright, I love the MT's but there a little pricey, wear out pretty quick so i been doin some research and narrowed it down to either the

BFGoodrich Tires g-FORCE T/A KDW ??
or
Nitto NT05 ??
