I just got back from Buttonwillow.
I worked my schedule so that I could have the day off and do a little open tracking.
It was AWESOME!!! There were, at most, a hand full of cars so they grouped us into 2 groups of mixed classes and let us run 30 minute sessions! Weather was perfect!
I really got a chance to get my suspension dialed in and it was so much fun to see and feel how the changes affected the way the car handled. From first run to last I knocked 3 seconds off my first time and that was on a set of crappy Hankook Ventus! I got to run 8 sessions so that means I got 4 hours of seat time! Yeehooooo!!!
I probably shouldn't have risked crashing the car so soon to the FFF show but I'm not showing it anyways so..........
