Hey guys, a couple days ago I finally ordered my new hood which is
http://www.trufiber.com/Trufiber_Mustang_GTS_3_Ram_Air_Hood_RECESSED_p/tf10024-a44-l.htm
Now I am having a hard time trying to decide what grill to go with. I honestly think with the Stock Fogs and Pony with this hood and Roush front end maybe a little too much. Just need advice on what Grill you guys think would flow best with this hood and front fascia match.
Thanks,
Karl :character0029:
Love the new hood, my buddy just got that one in the mail today!!! Well there's lots of grills out there, what are you looking for an overlay, or replacement???

Just do a stock style black grille w/o the horse, lights, etc......

I am actually looking at a grill replacement. It looks like I may just go with the horse and light delete grill as you guys recommended. More than likely the Roush 9 Bar Billet grill.

Before I order my new grill just want to see what you guys think about the pic below. The owner painted the OEM grille along with the Buckets of his headlights...just an option and a thought but want to see what you guys think about it.

Don't go with billet.... stick with a clean, almost factory appearing, black grill.. like that Agent 47 unit. That one looks awesome.

I like the Agent 47 but my only grip is the fog lights will be spacekind of towards the edge of the of the ram air entrance of the hood. If I keep the light the I would want them to be more centered of the hood entrances. Im in limbo and tempted to order one of each just to see how they make me feel lol

LOL ok here is what Im down to as far as grills. Keep in Mind this grill has to compliment the Roush Front Fascia as well as the trufiber GTS 3 Hood. Here are the choices
1)Agent 47 Grill

2)Eleanor center Fog Lights

3)Builltt Blackout grill

4) Roush 9 bar Billett Grill

The more I look at the Agent 47 grill the more I love it. Im browsing the web now to see if anyone matched it up with the hood I have coming in. I have seen option 2 with it and it looks pretty good.

Sure thing, you can kinda see where my paint was begining to chip on the edge of the hood in this pic, it has gotten worse so I kinda had no choice but to either paint the whole hood or get a new cooler one :)

a center-fog grille would look good with your setup. also, a black Shelby GT grille like mine would look good.

I was checking out the Shelby grille and they are pretty nice, I just dontknow what the difference is between the Shelby and the Roush Grill outside of the Tri Bar Pony emblem. The Hood should shipMonday and be here in 7 days or so..I cant wait!

the tri-bar pony on my grille was put on later. im not sure about the Roush, but the shelby grilles come in 2 different models. one comes with just the billet grille itself and the other comes with the grille and the surrounding frame/shroud. the grille by itself is cheaper, but youd have to modify your stock grille to accommodate for it.

I looks good on your ride for sure! I would like to do the center fog..but everyone has that I like to be a liiil different so Im thinking of going with an all black grill in the front. Im going to compare prices between the Shelby and the Roush..normally the Roush runs about 350 but for some strange reason Mrbodykit.com has it for 140 or so.. Have you added anything else to your ride?

be careful about that price on the Roush, Karl. that might be one of those instances like i stated where its just the grille and not the whole assembly. i will check that out for ya. i kinda know what to look for since i bought just the Shelby grille. i went that route since i already had an extra stock grille in my possession to modify for the Shelby. thanks for the compliments. i recently got my windows tinted to 15% and painted my rear window louvers gloss black.

Yeah I researched the Shelby one and found a deal where you get the grille and the assembly for a little over 200..not bad deal.
