SRA Questions?

Ok i decided to buy a SRA but also keep my IRS if i want to go back later on.

I want to know if a Fox Body SRA will fit my 99 cobra?

Also exactly what exactly is needed to do the swap?

It should "fit" the only thing that i think would be different would be the backspacing. You could always measure your IRS and compare its width to the Foxbody's.

Are you talking just the 8.8 rearend without the axles? The rear track width on pre-94 stangs is narrower than the later years. You might look into getting a SRA from a 94 and up.

I have 90 mustang 8.8 rear end, so what would i need to make it fit properly. Im guessing i need the brake brackets and that would be it, right?

brake brackets and some 94 and up axles. and brake lines/adapters.

79-98 8.8 housings are the same width, with the 94-98 having longer axles forr the rear discs. 99-04 housings are wider with even longer axles. The control arm mounting points remained the same.

Hey i have a few questions,during SRA swap did your traction control keep on working or does it eliminate itself, also i did a 98 gt sra swap and dont have the abs sensors hooked up, what happes if i dont have them connected.

Re Traction control, yes it will still work.

But I had mine removed with my tune, don't want to forget to turn it off while I'm at the track lol
