I just realized that I never shared this car with TPMS.

I bought it in May 2009 with the intention of a simple daily driver to keep the miles off my other garage queens.

After it's first spark plug inspection I realized #8 cylinder was out, so it's build time! :rolleye0018:

And yes......I did all the work myself except for the rotating assembly which was balanced

I'll let the pics speak for themselves, but to sum it up:

-347 stroker
-Scat forged crank, rods
-Keith Black forged pistons
-GT40 heads and intake****will be replaced VERY soon with Holley SysteMax intake and AFR 185 heads
-BBK longtubes & O/R H-pipe
-Crane Hi-6 ignition
-Coming soon.....V2 Si trim

It was a Missouri car, but according to the DSO it was a gov't unit. It never patroled. It does still have all the SSP goodies like the buck tag, trunk release relocated, upgraded alt, ground straps, single key locks and even has the oil cooler between the block and oil filter.

NICE!

That means unlike every SSP Fox I had you have NO holes in the dash, no spot light hole plugs, and no holes in the trunk floor. LOL

Does it have the PA holes in the lower RF of the bumper?

And to think, when I bought it my intentions were to use it as a DD :omg-1:

A water pump and spark plug change led to all this :sSig_sup:

I bought a Vortech V2 off Corral, but I may sell it and go N/A for a while to focus on suspension. If I get that dialed in and reduce some fat I can squeeze out some nice numbers.

With the Holley intake, AFR heads with 58cc chambers, I'll be just over 10:1 compression. :sSig_sup:

N/A should still be quite fun :party0007:

That is going to be one bad azz coupe.

FOX CARS, FTW

Tommy

As many foxes have proven, it's not about the RWHP......

there's a particular Orange fox here :D that dyno'd less than 400rwhp and runs mid 6's in the 8th.

I've seen 500+ rwhp Cobra's that have a hard time getting in the mid 7's

Powershift03

Yep... Fox cars are one of the best "bang for the buck" cars you can buy. And there is an endless amount of aftermarket parts available for them too. I remember in the late '80s / early '90s we used to jokingly call Foxes "the new '69 Camaro".. because there was SUCH a huge aftermarket for them. LOL

right on the money Tommy...... doesnt make much sense really there is a weight difference between 03 and 04 style Mustangs and Foxbodys but not enough to make up for the huge HP differences, i know many 03 and 04 Mustangs and Cobras that have 700RWHP or more that run no better than 11s in the 1/4 yet ive seen plenty Foxbodys with less than 400RWHP in the 11s............im not looking for a pissing match im speaking on and average i know theres 700RWHP 03 Mustangs running low 10s. Ive had personal experience with my Fox against newer higher HP Mustangs.............again its not a pissing match if i could have one car next to my Fox it would be a 03 Termi without a doubt!!

PS...... im not including supercars cause if i were i cant get that Ford GT and Ferrari Enzo dream out of my head:auto: yeah both in red:thumbsup:

ME TOO!!! :shizzle: I would want a 100% stock 03 10th Anniversary. That gem would be a HUGE collector in the near future
