Hey TMPS! Well its saturday and today was such a beautiful and failr "warm" day. Being that it was -20 with no clouds and golden sun here in Fairbanks, Alaska, I decided to put on a goose down North Face parka and go get my Mustang detailed. After detailing I decided to take some pics of where I am so far with my conversion. Since I last posted pics I have added the rear Valence, Roush extreme exhaust, and also Roush suspension with Roush Decals. I still have a few knick knacks to add before I begin my performance Mod. phase in March. Hope you like..I think its coming along pretty well. I have considered swapping the Tan top for a black one, but I havent seen any Roush Convertibles with a Tan top..so I think I will keep!

Thank you, yep thats what I was thinking to. Its hard to have a good color scheme with that Tan top..plus adding strips is out of the question cause no color will match up with it. I'm basically tweeking the appearence for now until I buy my Kenny Bell which wont be until July/ August time frame.

OK, I found one with a BLack Top ...what do you guys think? Should I go Black and not look back or stay Brown all year round..lol If I go black then I may go with a black hood.

Yes it is sharp. I looked up a few online, they running abour 500-700 bucks. Only thing is if I change that top, Im going to have to get rid of the Tan interior. But you guys are right, I will be ordering the Black top come the 1st!! What do you think about some strips?

LOL! Yeah the tan is different and I like it...it just seems a little off from the rest of the car. Imma have to sleep on this one! I also ordered thos springs, they should be here this week hopefully. Man all this money going on my project car and I haven't even started Performance mods! I think it may be best to keep this car for life.

Thats the look im shooting for, Black hood and black spoiler. I like that tan top, but I think the black would give it a more aggressive look. :character0224:

Then change the top and go with the black treatment. The tan interior should be fine, change it later if it bothers you. I still say the side vents would look good.

I actually decided to get those side vents. I was going to go with a different hood but Im happy with the hood scoop for now and will paint it black once I get the top swapped out. My dead line is March because I really want to start my Performance no later than mid March.

like I said the black top would look better for blue, in my opinion tan goes really nice with red only, but if you got extra money buy new one, if not wait until it starts to show some wear, it would begin to eventually show some black spots, then change. about the interior, tan and blue kind of match and might not look so bad, anyways the ceiling of the inside of the convert top is black so the new black top should not look to bad for tan interior...just my 2 cents, got a cnv tan top on red and one in black too..

Definately agree with you, As far as the interior Im not to concerned with at the moment, I was actually lookng at Roushperformance.com because he is offering his two toned seat upgrades for 500 bucks now, not a bad deal.

Im thinking that as well. Making it look good is killing my budget but its worth it. The only thing about the performance right now are the icy roads. Its difficult driving out here bone stock during the winter, but by March things should be clearing up. LOL at the eskimo's
